The plastic island / audio-visual performance
The plastic island is the new solo live audiovisual piece of A-li-ce which will be premiered at Sonic Visions. Based on her current artistic and visual research regarding ecosystems and resilience, she uses on stage video footages and animated organic patterns, raw sounds and her own voice to whisper us some utopic stories, somewhere before and after the crash.
BIOGRAPHIE
A-li-ce (*FR, Berlin) arbeitet als Künstlerin in dem Bereich Audiovisuelle Performance, Videoinstallation und Film. Ihre Arbeit kombiniert Animations- und Videotechniken und wurde auf verschiedenen Festivals gezeigt, z.B Mapping festival (CH), Mira Festival (ES), die Internationale Animation Film Festivals von Stuttgart und Moskau, Vidéoformes (FR), im Manga- Museum (JP) und im Deutschen Historisches Museum. In Berlin ist sie Teil des Videokunst- Kuratorenteams Scope Sessions und hat 2017 die VJ Open Lab Community mitbegründet, die den Live-Medienkünstlern*innen ein monatliches Treffen anbietet.
